Kohiki bowls workshop

Kohiki pottery is a traditional Japanese pottery technique that dates back to the 16th century. Kohiki pottery is characterized by its simple and rustic appearance. It is created by applying a layer of white slip (a mixture of clay and water) over a dark, iron-rich clay body.

This workshop is suitable for students who want to get a short experience on how to make bowls by using pottery wheel as medium and creates pattern in “Kohiki way” which gives the pottery its distinctive appearance with applying white slip only.

This class is beginner friendly.

Outcome:
2 bowls (1.2kg iron clay)

Sat / Sun 10am-12pm /2pm-4pm

Fees:
RM300/pax, RM580/pair 


Included 2hours pottery making & 1hour painting session ,materials and firing fee.
